Endling appears to take place in a future where man’s overexploitation has severely upset the natural balance and continue to endanger the wildlife. Here, players are tasked with protecting the last mother fox and her three young cubs from the dangers of the forest as well as one of their most dangerous threats to escaping captivity: mankind.
In Endling, our protagonist will need to use all of its foxiness to avoid the dangers of the forest, while collecting food to keep his family alive. Yet the player will find out that the biggest danger in the forest is the destructive effect of the human race, which corrupts day after day the most precious and needed resources of the natural environments.
Players will follow this family of foxes through “devastated environments based on real issues.” In order to survive, they will need to find shelter, hunt food, and do their best to avoid the various dangers lurking in the forest. Your instincts will be tested as you will need to “get involved in emotional taxing decisions.” Can you help them find a new home?
