Telltale Games has announced that episode two of Batman: The Enemy Within will be available soon, becoming available for download starting September 26. The second of five episodes, “The Pact” will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, as well as for download on iOS and Android devices starting that same day.
The Pact will mark the first appearance of Harley Quinn in the Telltale Series. As a beloved fixture in the Batman universe, Harley Quinn’s inclusion in the series has been long-requested by fans, but Telltale had to be sure that this version of Harley would fit in their gritty, realistic take on Batman canon. A press release from the developer states that they took special care in crafting “an interpretation of the character that captures her essential qualities while still framing her in a new way.”
Harley will be arriving to cause trouble in Batman’s world alongside his existing conflicts, both with the murderous Riddler and the mysterious and unsettling Joker-to-be, “John Doe”. The power dynamic specifically between Harley and John Doe is promised to be especially “intriguing”.
Episode two of Batman: The Enemy Within, The Pact, launches September 26 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and mobile devices.
