Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is a game that incorporates time management and restaurant simulation all into one PS1-style horror game. It was first released as a free alpha demo version in October 2020 on Steam, which is no longer available due to the game’s full release, and became a favorite among the gaming community on YouTube. The full game was released on Dec. 3, 2021, for the PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and plans to release for the Nintendo Switch in early 2022. Happy’s Humble Burger Farm was developed by Scythe Dev Team, the same developers behind Northbury Grove, and published by tinyBuild.
You are a recent hire working the night shift at the popular fast-food restaurant chain Happy’s Humble Burger Farm. At the Farm, you take the customers’ orders and assemble the meals yourself, where you cook the patties, work the fryers, pour drinks, and more. However, if you mess up on a customer’s order or do not serve enough customers within the allotted time of your shift, you will get penalized and get infractions. Once you receive three infractions, you will be punished by Happy the Humble Heifer, and you do not want to upset her.
After you successfully finish your shift, you can head back to your apartment, where you can replenish your energy for the next day’s shift. If you do not want to go home yet, you can also explore New Elysian City and all the different city attractions like the Jazzy Java Joint for some coffee and cool tunes or the New Elysian Museum for some information behind the city. You might even discover the secrets behind New Elysian City and the Happy’s Humble Burger Farm franchise by finding audio logs and clues.
Happy’s Humble Burger Farm also includes some cool details to make the game more memorable. According to the game’s Steam page, there is an interactive jukebox that includes nine brand new albums and OSTs recorded exclusively for the game and five returning tunes from the demo. The game also has around two hours worth of Talk Radio and over sixty television programs, where you can hear small voice cameos from well-known gaming YouTubers CoryxKenshin, iBerleezy, DomPlays, and 8-BitRyan.
If you want to start your new job at the Farm, you can purchase Happy’s Humble Burger Farm now on Steam, the Microsoft Store, and the PlayStation Store for $19.99. Currently, the game is on sale for $17.99 on Steam.
