GRUNND Demo Expected To Be Released This Upcoming Fall

GRUNND, the upcoming “dark Lynchian narrative-adventure game”, has recently posted an update to Twitter: the new and improved demo for the game will be released later this fall. The game is a story-driven adventure game that tells the story of a young protagonist trying to find his way back home from a parallel universe.

The project is still fairly early in its development and not everything regarding the story has been revealed to the public as of yet. It is mentioned that the game will have multiple different endings and non-looping dialogue. The game will include a “hand-crafted world”, original score, and fully voice-acted characters. Hopefully, more answers will be revealed along with the release of the new demo.

The game completed its “Playtest Demo” phase in April of this year. This opportunity gave potential players the chance to get a better understanding of what to expect from GRUNND, as well as being able to identify problems found while playing. The team has received plenty of useful and crucial feedback and are now eager to show the improvements. The new demo will feature a variety of new areas, five times as many as the previous demo. Feel free to view and explore these areas, or choose not. There will also be new characters introduced, as well as the “first plot turn” in the storyline.

I have recently discovered that I DO NOT want to be a doctor, and have been studying Creative Writing and World Cinema. I love storytelling more than any subject, and would probably watch, read, or play anything given to me just to know how it ends.
