Greak: Memories Of Azur Out Now For Older Consoles

Originally first out on August 17 just for the next generation consoles, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, the developers from Team17 have decided to release Greak: Memories Of Azur on the previous consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. With the great demand for the newer game consoles, this might be your chance to play this action-packed game.

Take control of one of three separate characters who are family as you encounter many different puzzles as you run across the war-torn world of Azur trying to escape the Urlag invasion. Reuniting the three of them as you plan to build an airship piece by piece to escape, but would you really leave your hometown just like that. This side-scrolling single-player adventure game has hand-drawn animations and based on the trailer looks very crisp and sharp.

The youngest is the title character Greak so something tells me you will be controlling him the most as each different sibling have their own special abilities. Along with Raydel the brother and his sister Adara, Greak is desperate to flee the country and live in peace. Team17 has built a truly captivating story about family, home, and union in tough times while exploring colorful and expressive scenarios. With a fast pace combat system and intricate puzzles, you are sure to never get bored with this game. Let’s hope it is nowhere near as difficult as other Metroidvania games such as Hollow Knight.

The release on PS4 and Xbox One also brings new content for the game. There is a new boss encounter, a playable cinematic sequence, an improved map, accessibility options, and more. The new content is live on PC, is coming to Xbox Series X|S today, and will be available for PS5 and Nintendo Switch in 2022.

Video games let you get away with crimes and actions you should never dream of doing in real life. If I am not playing video games, I am watching LSU, Saints, and cheering for #18 Kyle Busch in NASCAR.
