Going Medieval Goes Early Access On PC

Today game developer Foxy Voxel and publisher The Irregular Corporation have announced that their new game Going Medieval is now available on Early Access. The game is available through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Going Medieval is a city-building strategy game that takes place in a medieval setting.

In Going Medieval, players control the last survivors of humanity after a deadly plague has eliminated over ninety-five percent of the population. Players will command these colonists in order to design, build, and expand their own settlement. The game allows for a heavy amount of different base building customizations, allowing players to create anything from simple wooden huts to multi-level forts with underground caverns. Besides managing their fort, players will also need to make sure that they are properly looking after their citizens. Equipping villagers with the best weapons and gear possible is key to fending off bandits and other enemies from raiding the city. If players do not keep in mind the villager’s needs and wants, their emotional states can be negatively affected. Villagers each have their own histories, goals, and relationships, and players will be able to expand their population by helping strangers and taking them in. Fans of similar city-building strategy games such as Civilization and Hearts of Iron should definitely give Going Medieval a look.

Going Medieval is now available as an Early Access title on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. The game is available for $24.99, however, those who purchase the game before June 8 will receive a 10% discount. Players who are interested in the game are currently able to wishlist it on Steam in order to be notified when the final version of the game releases.
