GOG.com Turns Five, Celebrates With Free Games

Digital game store GOG.com is celebrating five years of providing customers with their favorite games, old and new, DRM-free. And what better way to celebrate than with some free games?

GOG.com has tweeted a link to a free download of Stargunner, a scrolling shoot-em-up originally released in 1996 on MS-DOS. To be fair, Stargunner publisher 3D Realms (then called Apogee Software) released the game for free years ago on their own website, but it’s the thought that counts.

The Twitter post sounds like GOG.com may not be done handing out freebies, so keep an eye on their feed for more potential giveaways.
