Once upon a time, off in the woods there was a man with a gun, and a drawn face for a ghost. Wait, what? Or at least, that’s how Ubisoft illustrated the trailer for the upcoming Ghost Recon Breakpoint, that had been announced back in May. Combining some hand-drawn animations to create their cartoon-ish persona’s into, well, cartoons. All while parodying some old fairy tales and how they’re presented:
This classic 50’s style cartoon animation combined with the Breakpoint gameplay, was released early today for the upcoming availability for Beta players that will launch tomorrow. Though the game’s full release won’t be until next month. The beta will support both solo and co-op play of up to four players online. Co-op will be allowed for two missions for the main story line, side missions, daily missions, and three different types of Drone Areas.
Those who sign up for the beta, will also be able to participate in the in-game charity event known as Man Down. Ubisoft has become a proud partner of Child’s Play during the beta for Breakpoint. For the in-game charity, which can be read about here, Ubisoft has made it so that each player that is revived is tracked in their system. With the system, there are milestones and when each milestone is met, Ubisoft will donate 30,000 Euros to the organization.
As of currently, the Beta is available to those who pre-ordered the game, Uplay Plus Subscribers, those who took part in an online technical test a while back, as well as a select few at random for anyone who signs up for the beta on their website. The beta is set to start up September 5, and run until September 9. For the full information about the exact missions and locations that will be available in the beta, as well as anything else, check out the Beta page here.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint is set to come out on October 4, 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
