Last week saw the release of Ghost of Tsushima on PC, PlayStation’s latest first-party game to make the transition to another platform. Like PlayStation’s previous releases on PC, Ghost of Tsushima has had a very successful launch as it has become PlayStation’s second-biggest Steam launch only behind Helldivers II.

According to SteamDB, Ghost of Tsushima reached a new high peak of 77, 154 concurrent players on Steam. It has become the biggest PlayStation single-player launch on Steam beating the concurrent player counts of the likes of God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Horizon: Zero Dawn and Forbidden West.

Like the majority of PlayStation’s other releases on Steam, Ghost of Tsushima has been well-received by players with 85% of its 4,573 reviews being positive.
The PC version of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut features the full game, the Iki island expansion, and the cooperative online multiplayer Legends mode. This is also the first PlayStation game that utilizes the new PlayStation overlay which provides support for PlayStation trophies, cross-play, and more.
