GAMEVIL, one of the most successful publishers of mobile games, has started a brand new series of action RPGs with its latest release, Kritika: Chaos Unleashed.
Fans of mobile gaming are likely to be familiar with GAMEVIL. The company has a laundry list of successful titles both on the iPad and Google Play; even on the 3DS, with titles like Zenonia receiving a lot of positive acclaim for their design. This month two things have happened for the popular mobile publisher: they passed the 400 million download mark, and they released their latest mobile RPG, Kritika: Chaos Unleashed.
Available now on both iTunes and the Google Play marketplaces, Kritika: Chaos Unleashed is a highly customizable action RPG featuring a lot of the elements fans have come to expect from GAMEVIL’s games, including colorful graphics and quality gameplay. The game currently has two playable characters, with more expected to be released in future updates, along with content to explore.
Here’s a snippet on the story from the game’s iTunes page:
For thousands of years, the people of Kirenos lived peacefully without knowing that the world was changing around them. One day, the young alchemist Alki showed them how to create Mana batteries. In return, the grateful people of Kirenos made Alki their leader. However, after he came into power, he created an army that was only loyal to him. He brutally oppressed all those who sought to oppose him… is there anyone out there that can stand up against Alki’s tyranny and bring peace back to Kirenos?
The game has all the social features expected from a mobile game as well, allowing friends to play against each other and even share progress on Facebook. The game is available for free, so as expected microtransactions are available to help players obtain equipment and customization items faster than they could with simply playing.
Visually the game seems to be quite appealing: as mobile gaming advances we are seeing more and more high quality 3D rendered titles on the market, and Kritika: Chaos Unleashed’s visuals definitely stand out. With its comic-styled cutscenes and anime-inspired character designs the game has a lot of visual charm, something GAMEVIL has always been good at.
If you’re interested in playing, there’s no need to wait — Kritika: Chaos Unleashed is already available both on iTunes and Google Play, so hop over and check the game out now.
