FuRyu Sets October 29 Release Date for ANOMALITH

FuRyu has announced ANOMALITH, third-person survival horror shooter developed by Winning Entertainment Group, formerly known as Natsume Atari, with the title set to launch worldwide on October 29, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The game was revealed on May 21 during the Six One Indie 2026 Showcase alongside debut trailers in English and Japanese. Western buyers get a digital-only release at $49.99 for the Standard Edition and $69.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition. Japanese players get both physical and digital options on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, though the Switch 2 release ships on a game-key card rather than a cartridge.
ANOMALITH takes place in Japan in the year 19**, where spatial distortions called Otherworlds have started to materialize without warning. The government’s Danger Zone Countermeasures Office cannot push them back and has no answer for where they came from. The player controls Reona Minazuki, an investigator who awakens after a decade trapped within an anomaly called the Sarcophogus and now perceives the Otherworlds with heightened clarity. Working under the Office’s leadership and alongside its other operatives, Reona is tasked with both protecting humanity and finding a missing friend.

Combat is driven by third-person gunplay against enemies that attack unpredictably, and stunning them opens a window for melee finishers. The Otherworlds themselves bend the rules of physical space. Examples FuRyu has offered include an apartment where gravity is inverted and a train without an end. Players manage their inventory carefully and stay alert to threats as they navigate these spaces. Reona’s sensitivity to the Otherworlds also lets her pull both active and passive abilities from the anomalies themselves through what FuRyu calls the Demi-Humanization System. These abilities can be upgraded over time. Both gear and appearance are customizable. The game includes a broad lineup of weapons and attachments along with artifacts and outfit items. The RNG of artifacts determine whether or not the odds will be in the player’s favor, and can also add abilities to the weapon Reona is using. Her outfit alone can be configured using over 300 items distributed across nine sections of her figure. Between missions, Reona returns to a home base. Players meet the rest of the cast there, unlock upgrades, and pick up more of the wider story. Diving into the Otherworlds also generates investigation reports, with over 200 to find across the game, each cataloging an anomaly’s behavior or the foreign objects retrieved during a run.

ANOMALITH is available to wishlist now on Steam.
