Free New Five Nights At Freddy’s Game Offers A Highly Customizable Experience

Scott Cawthon, the creator of the Five Nights At Freddy’s horror games, has released a new, free game in the series. Dubbed Ultimate Custom Night, this game offers a highly customizable version of the classic gameplay experience.

Ultimate Custom Night acts as a sort of ‘Greatest Hits’ spinoff of the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise, but it’s not an official part of the FNAF canon. You will once again be in a security office trying to fend off a variety of killer animatronics until an in-game clock hits 6 AM. Players will have a selection of 50 different characters, all from the previous games, that they’ll have to manage if they want to survive the night. Each animatronic also has a customizable difficulty that ranges from 0 to 20. Many of them have the same mechanics as their original appearances, but others bring totally new mechanics, including a rather meta example from Toy Freddy:

The Steam description describes the tools at your disposal:

From your office desk, you will need to manage two side doors, two vents, as well as two air hoses, all of which lead directly into your office.

This time you will have to master other tools as well if you want to complete the ultimate challenges, tools such as the heater, A/C, a global music box, a power generator, and more. As if all of that weren’t enough, you’ll also need to set up laser traps in the vents, collect Faz-Coins, purchase items from the prize counter, and as always, keep a close eye on not one, but two, Pirate Cove curtains!

Some other new features in the game include sixteen different themed challenges, voice acting for the various cast of characters, and unlockable cutscenes and customization options for your office.

The game can be played for free on Steam.
