Forza Horizon 5 Announces Hot Wheels Expansion Pack

With over 20 million players worldwide, Forza Horizon 5 is already one of the most popular racing games on the market. Now, they have officially announced a brand new expansion pack will be coming on July 19th. Forza Horizon 5 will officially be collaborating with Hot Wheels to bring a brand new expansion pack to the game.

Forza announced in blog post that the two companies would be collaborating to bring brand new content to the game. This collaboration is not too surprising since the Hot Wheels expansion pack was one of the biggest hits from the previous Forza Horizon 3 game.

In their post, Forza said that “Hot Wheels introduces players to the visually stunning, exhilarating new Horizon Hot Wheels Park in the clouds high above Mexico, the ultimate playground of creative fun for you and your friends.” These tracks are shown in the trailer released by Forza and they look just as exciting as the blog post claims.

In addition to the new tracks come new cars as well. Forza announced that there would be a total of 10 new cars coming to the expansion pack. These new cars include the 2018 Chevrolet Hot Wheels COPO Camaro, the 2012 Hot Wheels Bad to the Blade, the 2013 Hot Wheels Baja Bone Shaker, the 2000 Hot Wheels Deora II, the 2021 Hennessey Venom F5, the 2019 Brabham BT62, the 2006 Mosler MT900 GT3, the 2020 SIERRA Cars #23 Yokohama ALPHA, the 2018 SUBARU WRX STI ARX Supercar, and the 2019 Italdesign DaVinci Concept.

The expansion pack will also include the ability to attend a Hot Wheels Academy where players can work their way up from B to X class. These classes will give players faster and faster cars until they earn the title of a Hot Wheels Legend! After becoming a Hot Wheels Legend, players will be able to create, race, and share their own courses. There are over 80 new pieces available for players to create some of the most exciting tracks in the game.

This expansion pack will be included in the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-ons Bundle, the Premium Edition and Expansions Bundle, but will also be available for $19.99 if the player does not have any of the bundles. Although the expansion pack does not release until July 19, it will surely be a hit once it is available to the Forza community.
