Forza Horizon 4 Getting a Battle Royale Mode “Eliminator” on December 12th.

Forza Horizon 4 is getting a new update on the 12th of December and alongside it a brand new game mode that will add the game to the growing list of battle royales. The new game mode is called “Eliminator” which is similar to a knockout race with players losing head-on races being knockout of the game and a more traditional battle royale game complete with shrinking boundaries and randomized pickups.

The game mode will have 72 players racing around an open countryside arena, with small races breaking out between racers. The shrinking boundaries will keep bringing fellow racers ever closer together into one final stretch to determine the winner. Everyone will be starting out with the same car, a mini cooper, but there are better cars scattered around the arena in random pickups for people to get an edge with. Defeating other players in races will net you their car or an upgrade for your current car if the new car is not to your liking.

Advertisements began to start appearing weeks earlier the Forza Horizon 4 world, such as ads painted on to various delivery trucks populating the roads. People have taken to forums to talk and speculate about the future. the guesses range from just a random skin to hints of a new lap by lap knock races. the latter being closer to the truth.

The battle royale is not the only feature coming with the new update.  A new micro campaign is coming to the game for players to grind out for brand new reward cars such as the; 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator, the 2008 Renault Mégane R26 R, and the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The update is going live for players at  Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. EST.

Griffin Gilman: Gaming may very well be half of my personality, so it is only natural that I write about them. The best genre is RPGs, while the best game is Nier Automata. That's not an opinion but a matter of facts.
