With Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 becoming the latest release from the popular game in the beginning of the month. Fans couldn’t wait to see what else they have in store and they did not disappoint. Fortnite is having its Summer Splash Event. This event will last to the end of Season 3 which will drop into a rotation of classic LTMs along with some new ones. There will also be a new and favorite Item Shop Outfits for fans to try on and get ready.
On the Fortnite website, they stated that “Throughout Summer Splash, enjoy a rotation of LTMs such as Fog of War (formerly Sneaky Silencers), Close Encounters, Unvaulted, Catch! And more. You’ll also notice these classic LTMs getting some Summer Splash refreshment with some new features. Brand new LTMs will kick off a future update new takes on Operation: Knockout, a reel’em in royale and a game of elimination-powered upgrades.”
Also with the Summer Splash Event, they will be featuring new Outfits and other Item Shop items inspired by all things summer like sand, sea, sports, and of course good food. Players will also be able to dial-in their fairway drive as golf expert Par Patroller, shark-suit up as Cozy and Comfy Chomps, resemble the constellations as Starflare, robotic skin, taco mascot, and what appears to be a tactically minded knock-off Jeffrey Lebowski. With the summer heating up it will also herald the return of both Summer Drift and Beach Bomber for the festivities.
Fans will be super excited for this amazing summer event coming to Fortnite and get to experience some type of fun in the sun with this new event. The Fortnite Summer Splash 2020 Event starts today and will continue until the end of Season 3.
