Fortnite Full Season Reveal For Myths And Mortals

Following up on yesterday’s teases for Fortnite’s brand new season, today the season officially releases and with it a brand new trailer detailing everything to come. This season is finally Greek mythology-themed themed and all the heavy hitters are here. From Zeus, to Hades, to Medusa to a plethora of gods from the greek pantheon all participating in the seemingly eternal battle royal. We got to see new locations in detail such as the depths of the Underworld as players will be navigating through the river styx and will gain some primordial abilities that will aid their traversal fight, and this looks to be the place where players will be able to get their hands on Hades mythic chains weapon, and you may also find his 3 headed furry friend there. We also saw Mount Olympus in all of its splendor, showcasing the King of the gods himself Zeus, Artemis, and Poseidon (In Slurp form). This is where players will be able to use Zeus’ mythic lighting bolt weapon, and Icarus wings.

The battle pass looks to be filled with content as all of the previously mentioned Gods will be unlocked through it. There also plenty of unlockables pertaining to Fortnite Festival with God themed instruments, and there are even Lego versions for the aforementioned Gods. The big collaborations for this season is confirmed to be Avatar: The Last Airbender, as Korra is officially the guest character unlockable through the battle pass, and other characters are expected to be released to the item shop as the season continues.  There will probably be a lot more Greek themed content throughout the season as Ares who was showcased in the teaser yesterday was nowhere to be found and there are even more rumors of Kratos returning to the item shop soon.

It looks like players will have to wait some more additional time before being able to play the new season as there is currently some server and maintenance issues occurring at Epic. The downtime as of now is expected to last another 4 hours.
