It is time to enter forgotten lands. Developed by Heart Machine and published by Gearbox Publishing, Hyper Light Breaker is an action-adventure role-playing game that takes players to the land of Overgrowth, a land located in the world of Hyper Light. This game is made on Unreal Engine 4 and is open-world. Players will explore the different terrains and fight against challenging foes and make their way to stop the Abyss King.
In a new trailer, there is a gameplay preview for Hyper Light Breaker. Viewers get the chance to see the mechanics of the game and sample the world of Overgrowth. The trailer starts in the cityscape, where there is natural flora abundant with city structures. Players will play as Breakers, characters of the world. Breakers have a fast running speed which will make traveling in this open-world game convenient. Players will be able to use a hoverboard for transportation which will make traversing through land and water easy. When making jumps from tall heights, a glider will appear allowing players to glide back safely to the ground without fear of falling down and taking fall damage.
As for the battles, one of the protagonists of the game is seen with a sword making quick jabs at foes. The attacks are fast and it leaves after images after attacks are performed. Swords aren’t the only weapons present. There is a plethora of loadout options for players to choose from. There will be guns to shoot out enemies from a distance as well as gauntlets with large metal claws for up close hand-to-hand combat. Players will be able to f to make endless loadouts and have with them different weapons for any occasion. Hyper Light Breaker can be played in single-player or with online co-op. Having a variety of loadouts with different Breakers will lead to a team of strong Breakers.
Hyper Light Breaker is in development with no release date but it is available for early access on Steam.
