During the PlayStation Showcase 2021, 2K and Gearbox officially revealed the first look at gameplay for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The game is an offshoot of the Borderlands franchise and stars beloved character Tiny Tina as you embark on an epic adventure full of whimsy, wonder, and high-powered weaponry. Magic, bullets, and broadswords collide across this chaotic fantasy world brought to life by Tiny Tina.
The game has you play as a member of Tiny Tina’s players in her version of what is essentially a DnD campaign. The game world, the Wonderlands is a wild and slightly warped take on high fantasy, filled with majestic towns, mushroom forests, foreboding fortresses, and more. Players will navigate the world like an interactive tabletop game where players can explore as they discover dynamic encounters and traverse between all key locations. The main objective of the game is to eliminate the Dragon Lord. Along the way, players will come across a wide variety of monsters, from sentient smack-talking skeletons to land-roaming sharks to colossal bosses.
In order to defeat these monsters, players will have access to an incredible arsenal of powerful guns, melee weapons, devastating spells, and unique skills. The game features a multiclass system that allows players to mix and match six unique character skill trees, all with their own abilities. Like Borderlands, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands can be played solo or with up to three friends for four-player co-op.
Pre-orders for the game are now live. Pre-ordering any edition of the game allows players to receive the Golden Hero Armor Pack that grants two armor presets that gives the armor an air of 24-karat goodness to any armor set. Armor presets allow players to customize the look of their characters.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Next-Level Edition is available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It features the full game optimized for performance on both platforms and the Dragon Lord Pack Bonus Content. This is available for everything and includes a legendary weapon, The Apex, a legendary spell, Skullantir, Tyrant Attire Armor Preset (5 items), Villian’s Visage Face Preset (2 items), Death’s Head Makeup Pack (3 items), Emperor of the Dead Banner Set (3 items), and Kwartz Hero Statue Material. Banner sets and Hero Statue Material offer more ways to expand the player’s cosmetic collection that allows you to personalize without affecting gameplay.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Chaotic Great Edition is available for every platform and features everything you get in the Next-Level Edition plus the Season Pass. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Season Pass includes the Butt Stallion pack at launch, plus new boss fights and challenges set to be released after the game comes out. The Butt Stallion Pack includes Diamond Guard Armor Presets (3 items), Crystal Glitter Makeup Pack (5 items), Adamant Throne Banner Set (2 items), and Diamond Hero Statue Material.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands releases on March 25, 2022, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
