Fingersoft Announces New CFO Annika Suni

Fingersoft has appointed a new figure to the role of Chief Financial Officer. The Finnish mobile gaming company known for their Hill Climb Racing series will now have Annika Suni as the person in charge of overseeing all of their financial operations. As a new member of the Leadership Team, Suni begins her first day of being the Chief Financial Officer today.

Annika Suni has over twenty years of experience underneath her belt with previous roles at Hasan & Partners, Youredi, Gusty Animations, and Encorium. She has floated around in the world of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise, more colloquially known as SMEs, during that time: Suni has jumped from pharmaceutical research, a production company, an advertising agency, and several IT companies before landing this opportunity at Fingersoft. Moreover, Suni holds a Master of Science in Accounting that gives her great credence for the role she is about to partake in. Becoming the new Chief Financial Officer at Fingersoft will be her first step into the world of video games and she is embracing it with open arms.

“The gaming industry is completely new to me, but the principles of financial administration are the same in every field,” said Suni. “My experience in the IT industry and several growth companies also helps, so I think I will learn quickly the specifics of the gaming industry. I’m already full of enthusiasm, ready to roll up my sleeves and get to know the great Fingersoft team.”

The person who is leaving behind their legacy to let Suni take the role is Markus Vahtola. Vahtola worked as Fingersoft’s Chief Financial Officer for nine years while doubling as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer too. Now with Suni taking some of the weight of his shoulders, Markus Vahtola will continue to be Fingersoft’s Chief Marketing Officer from this point on. He will now devote most of his focus on developing the company’s marketing performance for the upcoming future.

“Annika has excellent and versatile expertise in creating processes and reporting systems for financial management, project management, and HR, as well as experience in strategic planning and deploying new systems. Annika complements our leadership team, and we are pleased to welcome her to Fingersoft,” says CEO Jaakko Kylmäoja.

Annika Suni being appointed Chief Financial Officer marks another great shift in Fingersoft history. A few months back, the gaming developer began instituting a six-hour workday following alternative workday trials and, just recently, they partnered with Flexion to release Hill Climb Racing 2 to alternative app stores. Furthermore, Fingersoft expanded their executive team when they appointed Teemu Väisänen as the newly-created role of Game Development Technical Director back in October of this year.
