Microsoft has recently announced that next week, the royal Regalia from Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV is coming to Forza Horizon 3. The car Noctis and his friends took along on their journey across the kingdom of Lucis to fight against the Niflheim Empire and countless demons in order to restore piece to Insomnia and reclaim the throne left to him by his father is coming to the iconic racing game. Microsoft revealed this announcement earlier today at ChinaJoy 2017 which is a large convention that takes place in China.
The Regalia will be available for players who own a copy of Forza Horizon 3 on the Xbox One, or Windows 10. Owners of Forza will receive the update by an in game message on August 1. However Final Fantasy XV players will receive an Xbox Live message with a code that can be redeemed for the car. After the free update players will be able to take the Regalia on casual drives across Australia.
Microsoft has has also showed off some of the car in action. According to Xbox.com the Regalia is nearly 21 feet long and seven feet wide, and boasts a 7.2-liter supercharged V12 engine that delivers 536 horsepower and 590 lb/ft of torque. The large powerful vehicle will unfortunately leave the ability to fly behind in this game, but it will also feature a convertible roof top just like it does in Final Fantasy XV. The Regalia is only a one of a small faction of video game cars that will be drivable in Forza joining Halo’s Warthog and Fallout 4’s Chryslus Rocket ’69.
