Final Fantasy VII to be Released on PS4

This weekend Square Enix made a surprising announcement at the PlayStation Experience event in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fans of the ever popular Final Fantasy VII game will finally get to experience it on PS4 Spring 2015. Though don’t get too excited it is a direct port from the re-mastered PC version, as seen in the trailer below.

The news was slightly underwhelming considering fans of the FFVII have been begging for a remake of the game for years. There have always been talks and rumors about the game getting an enhanced makeover or potential sequel, but nothing has been confirmed.

No further information was given in regards to the games release so fans will just have to wait until next year to relive the classic all over again. The gesture seems like a ploy to get fans off developers back considering it is one of the most requested games to receive  a remake.

While it’s disappointing that FFVII will not currently be re-mastered, as a fan of the series it will be nice to have it available on next gen consoles.

From there her love of gaming only grew moving on to more advanced consoles such as the Sega Dreamcast, PlayStation, PC, and later on Xbox. These days you can catch Daniela battling guardians in the crucible or enemies plaguing the world of Destiny on PS4.
