Final Fantasy VII Remake Xbox One Listing ‘Leak’

With E3 2019 only a week away information is more likely to be leaked now than ever before. Gamers everywhere are on the lookout for any but if news that my surface about the upcoming projects that companies plan to show next week during the years biggest gaming industry event. And this year we’ve gotten an interesting leak about Final Fantasy VII Remake one of the most anticipated titles confirmed to be showing up this year at the show. The leak came by the notable retailer GameStop’s Ireland website.

Since the game’s initial reveal back at E3 2015 it was only confirmed to be coming first to the PlayStation 4. However, nothing has been revealed as to which other platforms it would be making its way to, at least until now anyway. However, in an interesting development GameStop Ireland recently posted a listing for an Xbox One version of Final Fantasy VII Remake. It’s important to note that there is an equal chance that there could have been an error on the websites part for this listing. But, if it serves to be true, then this is a big reveal as the posting featured photos, pricing information, and also had information stating that fans will be able to preorder the game on Xbox One.

Whether this “leak” is true or not, we only have a week to find out for ourselves. It’s plausible that Microsoft could be planning on revealing that the title is coming to their console during their E3 press conference on June 9th. Or Square Enix could be holding out to make the announcement themselves the following day. There was another leak claiming that there is a demo for the game making its way to the public sometime soon but this should be taken with a grain of salt as well. Either way we don’t have long to wait!
