The legendary 1997 JRPG, Final Fantasy VII is finally available on Android devices. Android users can now finally relive the battle between Cloud Strife, the evil Shirna corporation, and eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE. Final Fantasy VII has been available on iOS since August of 2015. The game was also released in December on PlayStation 4 with a remake of the game still in the pipeline.
The mobile release of Final Fantasy VII features a control set up that is comfortable and does not distract from the visuals of the game. The mobile version even allows the player to adjust the opacity of the game’s on screen controls to customize the display based on personal preference. A feature like this handy for what is such a visually heavy game, with a lot of quality level design that would be sold short if distracted from in any way.
Final Fantasy VII mobile also has a feature that allows the player to turn off random enemy encounters so they can work through the story uninterrupted. This feature seems especially helpful for people who simply want to relive the story rather than invest the necessary to beat the game traditionally. Players can still play through the battles that are vital to the plot of the game, as this feature only affects the random enemy encounters that are commonplace in very RPG.
The player can also make the game easy on themselves with a max stat feature. This feature will immediately buff the character and their party to max stats, again to make the game easier to play through for those who are more into the story rather than replaying and investing the time that t would take to beat the game normally.
For those who want to relive their memories with the game or simply want to experience one of the most highly praised games in the Final Fantasy series; Final Fantasy VII retails at $15.99 and can be purchased for Android here.
