FBC: Firebreak Launches June 17, 2025

Today, Remedy held a special developer livestream for its upcoming three-player cooperative FPS shooter, FBC: Firebreak, set in the mysterious world of Control. During the livestream, Remedy shared live gameplay of Paper Chase and  ‘Sticky Ricky, and the first look at a brand new job called Hot Fix. In addition to the new gameplay, Remedy detailed what players can get with the Deluxe Edition of the game. FBC: Firebreak launches worldwide on June 17, 2025, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 for  for $39.99 / €39.99 / £32.99. The game will also be available day one via PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra and Premium).

FBC: Firebreak is a session-based, multiplayer PvE experience set within the acclaimed Control universe, delivering intense cooperative action. Players will take on highly, replayable missions known as Jobs, each uniquely designed with different challenges, objectives, and environments that will require teamwork and adaptability.

During the livestream, Remedy talked about and introduced requisitions, its take on a battle pass. Requisitions are sets of unlockable gear and cosmetics in FBC: Firebreak. As players play the game, they will earn currency (Lost Assets), and can use them to unlock with in-game currency. There is no time limit for requisitions.

Requsitions will come in the form of two types. There are the standard Requisitions which are a set of items that includes weapons, equipment and cosmetic items including armor pieces and sprays that players can unlock with in-game currency.

Classified Requsitions are a set of premium cosmetic items such as armor sets, sprays and weapon skins. Classified Requisitions are bought with real money. The items contained in Classified Requisitions have no impact on gameplay.

All requisitions are premanently available in the game so players can unlock and progress them at their own pace.

The Deluxe Edition of FBC: Firebreak cost $49.99 / €49.99 / £39.99 and will include a collection of exclusive cosmetics and premium voice packs for players looking to personalize their gear and squad identity. The Deluxe Edition will include:

  • “The Firestarter” Premium Voice Pack

  • “The Pencil Pusher” Premium Voice Pack

  • Firestarter Armor Set, Apex Revision (Helmet, Body Armor, Gloves)

  • Scorched Remnant Double-Barrel Shotgun Skin

  • Golden Firebreak Spray

  • Classified Requisition: “Firestarter”: A collection of 36 unlockable cosmetic items including weapon skins, sprays, and armor sets

Base game owners can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition for $10.00 / €10.00 / £7.00.
