Far Cry: New Dawn Announced, Releasing In February

Following up 17 years after the explosive conclusion of Far Cry 5, the announced Far Cry: New Dawn seems to be a more colorful take on the aftermath of a nuclear apocalypse. Taking place in Hope County, Montana, the same location as Far Cry 5, it seems to be building on what was established in the last title that was released in the series. This can be observed in how two player co-op is also pushed as a major gameplay feature, same as in the last game, likely meaning that players will be given the same level of freedom as they were in Far Cry 5 on how they want to experience multiplayer. Given the insane weapons, the distinct antagonists, and the colorful, bright world that was shown off in the trailer, the next installment in the Far Cry series is shaping up to be one of the most unique yet.

Far Cry: New Dawn releases February 15, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC for $39.99.
