Fallout’s Laser Rifle Is Now In Fortnite

The crossover event between Fallout and Fortnite progresses with the addition of new weapon to the battle royale game. In the new update, players are introduced to the Tri-beam laser rifle, a quintessential energy weapon that first appeared in Fallout 3.

While many players are familiar with the laser rifle’s capabilities, its reception has been mixed. Some fans have expressed dissatisfaction with its slow rate of fire, while others believe its power will compensate for this limitation.

Nonetheless, the Tri-Beam Laser Rifle in Fortnite is remarkably powerful. It delivers an impressive 117 damage per second, with each body shot inflicting 39 damage and headshots dealing 58 damage. Notably, the weapon has virtually no recoil, allowing for sustained fire with minimal crosshair movement. With a fire rate of 3 and a reload time of only two seconds, it stands out as one of the most versatile weapons in the game. Additionally, for those looking to dismantle structures, the rifle deals 49 damage to builds per shot, enhancing its utility in various combat scenarios.

While this development is exciting, the primary question on everyone’s mind is how to acquire the Tri-Beam Laser Rifle. Fortunately, Epic Games has made this process straightforward and accessible to all players.

The rifle has been incorporated into the general loot pool, meaning it can be found in a variety of locations and through different means. Players can discover it as floor loot scattered across the map, or by searching both standard and rare chests. Another method of acquisition is by shooting down Supply Drones found at Hotspots, which are conveniently marked with a gold name on the map. Additionally, Supply Drop crates, which periodically appear during matches, also contain the rifle. Although there are no fixed locations where the Fortnite Laser Gun is guaranteed to spawn, exploring any of the main Points of Interest (POIs) and diligently searching the area significantly increases the likelihood of finding one. This accessibility ensures that all players have a fair chance of obtaining this powerful weapon and integrating it into their strategies.
