Fallout Shelter Coming To PC, While Mobile Version Gets New Update

It was announced that the popular mobile game, Fallout Shelter will be released for PC sometime this week. This PC version will also be free as for details on how this game will be different or alike to the mobile version is unknown. Bethesda has been keeping these details under wraps for a while now but we expect to be able to hear about some details sometime before the release date, but if we have to wait for the release date to know how it’ll play exactly 4-5 days should be worth it. As of today there have been 50 million downloads of Fallout Shelter on mobile devices. One thing I hope the PC version changes is being able to pause the progress of the game. Because too many times when I played the mobile version does my vault get raided while I am not playing and my survivors do not heal themselves after winning in combat causing me to lose many high level survivors.

Also coming out for Fallout Shelter, is a major mobile update. This new update was teased at Bethesda’s E3 showcase this year. From the information given there, it appears that “there will be new locations to visit, enemies to defeat, and new characters to add to your Vault. You’ll also be able to send dwellers out on quests, and an “all-new” combat system.”

I cannot wait to get my hands on this new update on mobile, and to continue the great fun of running my own vault from the much larger screen of my computer. Hopefully there will be a way to transfer my vault on mobile to PC, but if not hopefully the games play similar to each other so that it will be easy for us veterans to get a quick head start.
