Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. Will be a Timed Exclusive on Xbox One

Fallout 76 was undoubtedely one of the hottest games coming out of E3 2018.  A larger landscape to roam, and even more weapons/toys than ever before to play with, Fallout 76 has a lot to live up to after their showing this past week.  With the game being always online, the series is headed into a different direction with a huge emphasis on playing with and against others.  With all that in mind, Bethesda will be having a B.E.T.A. also known as, the Break it Early Test Application, sometime in the near future for anyone who pre orders the game.

There hasn’t been an announcement on when the B.E.T.A. itself will take place, but some interesting information has recently surfaced in regards to it.  According to an FAQ that Bethesda made for the game, the Xbox One will be getting timed exclusive for the B.E.T.A.  Bethesda and Microsoft have not made an official announcement themselves regarding this, but the fact that it’s in the official FAQ page essentially confirms it.

It’s no surprise that Bethesda and Microsoft are being more than friendly to each other.  With games such as The Elder Scrolls and other Fallout games, Microsoft had always been the first to recieve updates, and new content, while Sony and everyone else had to wait.  In addition, the official trailer for Fallout 76 has the Xbox logo appear at the beginning, and its important to note that the trailer itself debuted at E3 during the Microsoft E3 2018 press conference last week.  It wouldnt be a surprise if both companies made a deal for more timed-exclusive content after the initial game launch.  Bethesda may have more to say on this in the near future, as Fallout 76 releases this Fall on November 14, 2018.

Even though the B.E.T.A. does not have a release date, you can still pre order the game to become eligible for it.  You also need to have a Bethesda account to gain access to the B.E.T.A. once it goes live.  You can sign up for the website here.
