Fallout 4 is Looking Graphically Impressive

Fallout 4 has been getting so much hype right now that we can’t even hold in our excitement except bubble over with awesome new content to show off from this up and coming Bethesda produced game. First we have some updated pictures of what this ridiculously immersive survival world is going to look like. Not only do these images show impressive details they are very artistic and show incredible programming.

These real life like photos are possible thanks to dynamic lights and the ability with the new system to add many more of these special lights than before according to Gamespot. They discuss how all this is done through Bethesda’s home rendering system known as the “Creation Engine”.

They claim that they wanted the world to feel very “tactile” and realistic “ensuring that these materials are distinct–that metal reflects light in a distinct manner from wood,” according to Gamespot. They apparently went a step further not happy just tinkering with their own game but worked specifically with graphics card maker Nvidia in which they said was to add incredibly distinct lighting and “atmospheric effect”.

Not only are they trying to get a realistic effect they also claim that they were going for a huge emotional effect on the player. “Cloth, hair, and vegetation, will blow with the wind.” according to Gamespot. Proving that we have yet to see the limits of beauty in polygons. That things can still blow us away not just because of a new generation of consoles but because of a teams dedication to creating beautiful graphics.

Some of the improvements to the overall graphics system include motion blur, custom skin and hair shading, filmic tonemapping and much more. For pictures make sure to check out more of the official screenshots here.
