Fable Fortune, the CCG based on the game Fable arrived on Steam Early Access last summer and is now fully released and free to play as of today. Players have been able to pick up some free cards through their in the “Road to Release” log-in event. As of today which is the official release date for the game players will be able to attain the Fancy Bloody Augur card and a Fancy card pack.
The game has seen many updates since its time in Early Access. Since its initial debut the developers have added a single player mode called Heroic Tales. Also with this new mode players also received some interesting new emotes that allow them to show some interesting and humorous expressions during play. Along with the full free to play release of the game, there will be a 1.0 update which will provide general bug fixes and many other features that will help add stability to the game. Designer Gary Paskins of co-developer Mediatonic stated on Steam that “We should also find out what Temple and Norman are up to. And we may even see some new, but familiar faces debuting!” The game will be available on Steam, Windows 10, and the Xbox Marketplace. Also, the The Fable Fortune Founder’s Pack will still be available to purchase will will give players “over $40 worth of in-game items, including 20 card packs, the exclusive Flaming Fowl Trophy Card, and the very rare Giant Egg card.”
