Experience Wolfenstein II on Nintendo Switch Come Late June

Winner of the Best Action Game of 2017 at the Video Game Awards 2017, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has had quite an impressive run with gamers. To continue its momentum, owners of the Nintendo Switch will be able to experience Wolfenstein II in its entirety and uncensored.

The game’s Switch port will be spearheaded by the veteran game studio, Panic Button. In addition, the port will be guided by the original developers of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, MachineGames.

Wolfenstein II brings players back from the events of Wolfenstein I: The New Order. Players assume the roll of BJ Blazkowicz, a freedom fighter in the heart of Nazi occupied America. During Blazkowicz journey, he will meet with other fellow freedom fighters in an attempt to reclaim his homeland from the evil Frau Engel and her Nazi army.

“Wage the second American Revolution your way – at home or on the go,” states a press release provided. In addition to the adrenaline-filled story, Panic and MachineGames have created “the perfect blend of immersion and accuracy, [by utilizing the] Nintendo Switch’s unique motion controls to stop the Nazi threat.” Not only will you be able to bring Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus with you on the go, but you will be able to experiment with an entirely new layer of gameplay.

The release of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on the switch is also a move by Nintendo to gear the Nintendo Switch not only towards family owners, but to mature gamers as well. With this title on the way, you can expect many more action-packed, M rated games of different varieties to hit the Switch in the future.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is due to release on the Nintendo Switch on June 29 for $59.99. You can watch the action unfold on the console with motion controls down below.
