Etherborn: The Gravity Defying Puzzle Game

Prepare to have your entire world turned upside, literally. Etherborn presents a whimsical take on puzzle solving that’ll challenge both your logic and your natural perspective of the world. In this gravity defying game, players will have the ability to fall into the sky, only to land on the ground; or leap of cliffs only to meet more land.

Etherborn is indeed a confusing puzzle game, but in a good, dreamlike way. The game presents a tranquil environment where gamers can calmly solve how to get around the world that just won’t stop moving. In this game, we get a virtual look of the similarities our dreams share with Etherborn.

“You are a voiceless being that has just been born into a world where a bodiless voice calls to you, patiently awaiting your arrival.” The developers of Etherborn form the basis of the game as being peaceful and engaging. Where a lot of players may feel inclined to hurry through complicated puzzles, Etherborn encourages players to elegantly leap, stroll, and climb their way throughout their environment.

The purpose of this anti-gravity world wasn’t just to add a cool new spin a puzzle game. It was purposefully intended to allow people to explore the earthly lands in ways we never could in real life; at least not with a simple leap and climb onto a rock wall. The constant shifting of the world within Etherborn is meant to help players see the depth and expansion of the land they are playing on. What’s even more incredible is that as players make their way throughout the twisted world, they can collect light orbs that act as switches, which will essentially activate your surroundings to alter around you.

The overall goal of the game is to not only discover the celestial voice that beckons your character, but to be open and explore. Etherborn has not been given a set release date, but fans can anticipate the game to be available for PC, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One some time this year.
