Enter the Chronosphere Joins Early Access May 25th!

Enter the Chronosphere, entered early access release, this morning. The game is developed by Effort Star and published by Joystick Ventures, Gamirror Games, and Beep Japan Inc. According to developers on Steam, the game was put in early access due to Enter the Chronosphere reaching the “quality and scope” needed, and the devs would like feedback from players to develop further. The team also plans to keep the game in early access for “Roughly six months” before 1.0 arrives. To find out more information about the Early access of the game, visit its Steam page for more information.

To celebrate its Early Access Release, Enter the Chronosphere published an Early Access launch trailer. The trailer shows a futuristic version of earth meeting a giant eye creature, it blinks, activates some kind of suction and starts pulling everything towards its eye. A group of space shooters, with one officer with a gun and tied long hair highlighted in the trailer, enter pods and blast towards the eye, one gets blown up but one succeeds, before the whole of earth is absorbed. Afterward, it seems an alien spaceship with a bunch of aliens watched the destruction.

Inside the eye, the long haired officer roams through what seems to be the eye, shooting aliens, running further and further into the eye. As the officer runs, new weapons with abilities are teased such as the “Starshard,” “Mining Laser” and the “Stinger.” It also seems through The Stinger’s options that you can select which ability the weapon takes on. There seems to be 3 different Chronospheres with different “floors” to explore. It also seems that one of the alien bears on the aforementioned spaceship is another playable character as he swims into action, punching, shooting and fighting aliens in the Chronosphere. He meets with the officer, where his name “Urtar” is revealed and he asks “Who ate all the fish,” showing their comradery. After him, a green character who may be the green alien teammate on the spaceship, slices, and shoots their enemies before the trailer ends.

Steam’s about page seemingly confirms that the officer and alien spaceship characters are teammates, as Steam states: “Follow the crew of the Starseer as they combat galactic threat: giant spheres that are consuming reality itself.” The game’s Steam Game Release page also informs players that the green character is “Lillypilly” , another member of the team, as well as, all updates and plans for Enter the Chronosphere in the future. Fans of Enter the Chronosphere have a lot to look forward to in the countdown to 1.0!
