Elusive Official Announcement Trailer Released

Yesterday, on March 5th, Chibig had released an announcement trailer for their game called Elusive, an action Indie RPG. The developers have started a Kickstarter campaign for the game that will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam. Chibig is looking at a release date in the year 2027, and are seeking $43,000 in funding, and their goal has seemed to be met now with a funding of around $98,000 and counting.

The trailer shows the main character Zoe, following in her father’s footsteps to become an explorer. There are a variety of clips of gameplay, such as Zoe sliding down a pipe, hiding from the enemy cat and crow, crawling through small corridors, jumping over obstacles, solving puzzles, exploring new and unique environments, and meeting new friends with their own unique looks and personalties.

According to the Steam page, the Elusives are tiny creatures that inhabit the homes of humans, hiding and borrowing whatever they need. There are also Elusive raiders, they venture into homes an take precious resources to help their communities thrive. Humans are considered big and clumsy and they do not perceive the world full of adventure and resources. Players will be able to explore an old, haunted house, discovering new pathways and tunnels that will lead to hidden treasures.

There are a variety of key features that Chibig mentions on the Steam page as well. The tunnels that players will explore in blends 3D environments with 2D pathways. Players can acquire special boots for special jumps, a grappling hook to reach distant areas, or moth dust dash for swift movement.

There are enemies that players will have to actively hide from, such as the cat and the crow. Lastly, players will be able to gather materials from the house to build up their own community.
