Elteria Adventures Will Have an Open Alpha for Steam Game Festival

The massive online sandbox RPG, Elteria Adventures, is currently under development and is set to be released on February 1st 2021. Despite the game being listed as an early access title, there is no available build to play the game. Although the developer Elteria Team and their publisher Heatherglade Publishing will be releasing limited time playable alpha build for Steam Game Festival Summer Edition from June 9th to June 14th which will be free for everyone during that week.

Elteria Adventures is attempting to merge multiple genres together from, platforming, RPG elements, and third-person shooters along with a voxel-based building system which is heavily based off of Minecraft. Along with building block castles and exploring the vibrant colored island, players must contend with the local fauna and each other with a combat system that is attempting to reward preparation and skills over gear. Players have access to various weapons and traps or can level mountains if needed.

Eva “Leraine” Sachkova, сo-founder of Elteria Team said, “It’s impossible to develop innovative MMO without feedback and suggestions from the community. Steam Game Festival presents us with a perfect opportunity to show Elteria to a wider audience. The game is still very much a work-in-progress, but we invite everyone to join us as we plan to stream and play together during the Festival.”

Elteria Team is hoping to use the free week to gain a modest player base to get the necessary feedback to continue with the game. Elteria Team is aiming to maximize player freedom and minimize the daily grind which is common to MMOs. Recently, Elteria Adventures has had the ability to capture the souls form the local fauna and the ability to take their form, or the ability to traverse the various disconnected islands by jumping across clouds.

Elteria Adventures is planned to be a free to play game on PC, with an early access build being officially available in late 2020. Nothing has come out about the monetization for Elteria Adventures.

Griffin Gilman: Gaming may very well be half of my personality, so it is only natural that I write about them. The best genre is RPGs, while the best game is Nier Automata. That's not an opinion but a matter of facts.
