Elf Games & Luna2 Studios Reveal Trailer For Children of Silentown

Elf Games (Little Briar Rose) and Luna2 Studios recently announced the reveal trailer for their upcoming “Burtonesque” dark-adventure game, Children of Silentown. The project was inspired by the style and stories of an unreleased movie developed by Luna2 Studios.

Take a peek at the Children of Silentown Reveal Trailer below, if you dare.

Follow the adventures of Lucy, a young girl living in a small village surrounded by a mysterious forest. While everything is calm and peaceful during the day, its the nighttime the villagers really worry about. “BEWARE: Do Not Enter The Forest”. The neighboring woods is apparently inhabited by monsters, and it’s not uncommon for people to go missing. The villagers and children are fearful of the forest, as one should be from hearing frightening roars echoing through the darkness. But Lucy is curious.  She believes she “is old enough to investigate on her own. Or so she thinks.”

Elf states that Children of Silentown will feature a “unique, unsettling 2D art style”, minigames with the village children, original puzzles, plenty of interesting and quirky characters, as well as a rude little kitty cat whose main focus seems to be purposefully messing with Lucy every possible chance. Music will also play an important role. “Learning how to sing will help Lucy in times of need.” Hopefully, more details will be shared in the coming months.

Children of Silentown has no official release date as of yet. However, according to its Steam Store page, the project should be “Coming Soon” and will be playable on the PC. Although nothing has been shared as of now, perhaps a console release could be a topic of future discussions. Wishlist the title to receive notifications when the game becomes available.
