Tomorrow, a special concert event is set to take listeners and viewers back to the Lands Between in a new way through Jazz. ELDEN RINGS: A Night in The Lands Between features GRAMMY Award-winning musician Kenny Garrett and up-and-coming musician Takuya Kuroda as they play tracks from ELDEN RING in whole new format as Jazz compilations with improvisation. The concert will be a full ensemble led by Garrett on Alto Sax and Kuroda on Trumpet. There will be two shows for people to either watch in person or via a live stream. Tickets are available now in different tiers, with VIP packages that include collectible items, the ELDEN RING digital soundtrack, and access to the post-show VOD.
Kenny Garrett is one of modern jazz’s brightest and most influential masters. His illustrious career includes hallmark stints with Miles Davis, Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers, Donald Byrd, Freddie Hubbard, Woody Shaw and the Duke Ellington Orchestra, as well as a heralded career as a solo artist that began more than 30 years ago.
Takuya Kuroda is a highly respected trumpeter and arranger from Kobe, Japan. Today, Takuya is at the center of the New York City Jazz scene playing with the likes on Jose James and DJ Premier.
Rounding out the band for this concert event includes MC Mario Bueno, a vocalist, actor, producer, emcee, and the founder of NYC-based production brand Digital Era Entertainment, creators of weekly nerdy content and the upcoming pro-wrestling-themed visual novel “Kokoro no Pro.” On Keyboard is Masayuki Hirano, also known as “BIGYUKI”, a ground-breaking songwriter and virtuoso keyboard player who blends jazz, soul, hip-hop, and electronica to create a sound that’s wholly his own. Matty Taylor is a bassist and producer living in the Los Angeles area but originally came from the East Coast. He has been a touring and recording musician since 2009 playing with artists like Lupe Fiasco, Xzibit, Tyrese, The Game, Eric Benet, Usher, and Robin Thicke. Drummer Ronald Bruner has been playing the drums since the age of two. His earliest influence was his father, Ronald Bruner, Sr., who was a world-class drummer performing and recording along Diana Ross, The Temptations, Randy Crawford, and Gladys Knight. Ronald Bruner Jr. is also the older brother of Thundercat’s bassist, Jameel Bruner. He is currently a regular member of Kenny Garrett’s band and continues to collaborate with a diverse group of musicians and artists.
The live stream ticket packages puts viewers right in the middle of the music and also gives full access to exclusive concert merch. ELDEN RING: A Night in The Lands Between takes place at 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm PST from The Bourbon Room in Hollywood, California.
