Titanfall has been considered a game-changing FPS ever since it was first revealed at E3 way back in 2013. From jetpack-assisted parkour to massive fighting mechs, the game still maintains a pretty strong multiplayer base, bolstered by the addition of DLC that was later made free for all players.
Rumors about the sequel have been swirling pretty much since the original was released and while the sequel has been openly talked about by company brass and developers alike, it was never officially announced or confirmed – until now.
The official Titanfall website has been updated with the above teaser trailer and a promise for a worldwide reveal on June 12. We see a drop pod of some sort and a mech with a SWORD, which fulfills this writer’s wildest dreams. The voice speaking sounds like that of JB Blanc, who voiced Commander Blisk in the original game.
People like you always want to be the hero. The problem with being a hero, is you have to be willing to die for what you believe in.
If I were you? I wouldn’t try so hard. You’ll live longer.
The reveal will most likely be on day one of EA Play, a three-day offsite event from June 12th to the 14th in downtown LA intended to be more accessible to fans, created as an alternative to E3, which will run June 14th through the 16th.
