EA Releases New Battlefield Hardline Trailer

EA and Visceral Games released a new trailer for the next installment of their popular series Battlefield Hardline. The trailer, which you can watch below, highlights some of the upcoming features in the new game.

The trailer definitely delivers an explosive message that Hardline will be filled with new and exciting game play. It features cops being able to use non-leathal takedowns, interrogations, and arrests. Players portraying criminals also have new strategies available to them such as using zip lines, grappling hooks, and stun guns. Also you will be able to experience high speed chases, explosive getaways, and fast muscle cars.

Hardline appears to have the same Battlefield touches here and there, but as you can see this will be an entirely different ballpark than what Battlefield fans are used too. There wasn’t much more revealed about the games storyline other than clips revealed in other trailers and slight banter between the police officers.

While the trailer is all well and good, we can only hope come launch day that Hardline does not meet the same fate as Battlefield 4. The game holds so much promise considering the franchise is taking a step in a different direction. It would be a shame for this new series to be plagued with bad press surrounding its release day.

Battlefield Hardline will be available March 17 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Playstation 4, and Microsoft Windows.
