The cult classic Bayonetta will be getting a Wii U exclusive sequel in 2014. Nintendo has also confirmed that Bayonetta 2 will feature a two-player mode. Aside from a new hair style, Bayonetta 2 seems to have retained the fast paced gameplay and tongue in cheek humor of the original. Bayonetta was originally published by Sega and developed by Platinum games, but Sega’s 2012 company-wide restructuring put the future of a possible sequel into question. Nintendo is now the current publisher, and announced plans for a sequel late last year.
