Techland hinted at this crossover event back on October 21, with their Deadeye’s Promise event tweet referencing the Left 4 Dead series. Most of the details of the event are unknown at the moment, however, one can assume it could include character skins and voice packs from Left 4 Dead 2. There is no release date available for the crossover event as of yet but more information will likely be released soon.

The game was announced at E3 2018 and this year’s E3 included a behind closed doors demo showing off new features a number of upgrades to features from the original Dying Light. The first new mechanic is an updated parkour system that allows the player to use a number of different tools to traverse the world, with the demo showing off the main character Aiden using a grappling hook and a paraglider to climb up vents or glide back down to the ground. Fans of Dying Light will be happy to know that they will only have to wait a few more months until they can play Dying Light 2. Dying Light 2 will focus on choices and consequences that will change the story and the world around the character. Dying Light 2 will be released in Spring 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game will also release for the next-gen PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett.
