Capcom fans will be able to get a deeper look into the long-awaited Dragon’s Dogma 2 in its upcoming showcase. According to the Friday morning announcement, the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcase 2023 launches later this month, on November 28th.
The 15-minute presentation will be hosted by the game’s director Hideaki Itsuno and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi. Fans can check out the Livestream on Capcom’s official YouTube channel at 1 PM PT/ 4 PM EST
Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma series gained a cult following following its initial release in 2012. The action RPG game made waves within the game industry for its stellar gameplay and character customization.
Despite its lackluster narrative the original managed to sell over one million copies. Following its success Capcom released an enhanced version of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, that gave players access to an additional area and all the original’s DLC.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 sets out to be an improvement on every aspect in the original game. While there isn’t any current information on the game’s plot, fans can expect more information in the upcoming showcase.
Unsurprisingly, since the showcase’s announcement there’s already been a major leak concerning the game’s release date.
A listing on the European game ratings board PEGI has Dragon’s Dogma 2 releasing on March 22, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Nothing has been confirmed but it wouldn’t be too shocking if the release date was confirmed in the upcoming showcase.
