Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Extra Pack 4 Embraces the Broly Movie

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was released over two years ago and the developers are still updating the game with new patches and content packs. Even with the massively successful Dragon Ball FighterZ on the market, Xenoverse 2 embraces the freedom of fighter movement and the ability to customize a created character. It has made improvements to the overall structure of the first Xenoverse game, which was released just over a year before the second.

With the new Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie hitting theaters in the United States in January and already being out in Japan, Xenoverse 2 is embracing the Broly hype with a free update and making the Extra Pack 4 available. Check out everything new that’s just arrived in the trailer:

Bandai Namco has introduced simple features and quality of life improvements along with new, but expected characters to the rosters. Not only is Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta now considered canon in the Dragon Ball universe, but the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly has joined him. American players can reenact the highly anticipated fight between these two celebrated characters before and after they see the upcoming movie.

A few more minor features are also available now from the free update. The first is a Photo Mode that can freeze the fight mid-action so players can pose their favorite fighters and add colorful effects for extra glamor. The rest of the free update includes appearance additions, the first being the snow suits worn by Goku and Vegeta as seen in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie. Finally, created characters will also be able to indulge in the many free costume options from the new movie. While PC players may have already had the luxury of playing as these characters in the past because of modding, console owners now have that opportunity.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
