PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile collaborated with “Dragon Ball Super” in update 2.7. The new features began on the third of July and will last until further notice. The Dragon Ball Super Mode brings new characters, events, and other features to spice up the gameplay. The collaboration will begin on July twelfth with the new update to follow on the fifteenth.
Dragon Ball Super Theme Mode was added to the Enrangel map. Players get to witness an anime-themed map to the Enrangel map with PlayerUnknown’s Battleground Mobile Classic Touch. The new themed map is designed to incorporate the Dragon Ball characters’ gameplay that reflects the original manga and anime.
The new theme mode will be ranked matches that allow players to gain the powers of the “Dragon Ball Super” characters by collecting power balls scattered across the map. The Dragon Ball Super Theme Map does not have weapons on it. Instead, players face up against other players in order to defeat one another. Each of the characters that have been added have their own set of unique skills and power. PlayerUnknown’s Battleground Mobile confirmed that Frieza, Piccolo, Son Gohan, Son Goku, and Vegeta were added to the mobile game. Players can deafen their enemies and teleport across the map using certain locations. Characters like Piccolo and Frieza can fight alongside others with two more long-range attacks and short-range powers they get in the game; even the Kamehameha can be used on the map.
All players need to do to get access into it is to select one character to enter a match. Other features that have been added to the new themed map on PlayerUnknown’s Battleground Mobile include Dragon Ball Village, Shenron Dragon, Kame House, and Goku Jutsu. Dragon Ball villages allow players to obtain dragon balls that can be used to grant the player abilities. The Shenron Dragon is where players can collect loot from marked locations on the map. Finally, players can use Goku Jutsu to destroy opponents while traversing the theme map through the power of flight.
