Are you already tired of all the E3 posts? Well we sure aren’t, and neither is Dontnod as they have finally showed off their newest title Vampyr. Players will be finding themselves in the shoes of Doctor Jonathan Reid who just so happens to be a vampire when not working as a surgeon. Take a look below at their E3 trailer released earlier today.
Now, being a doctor/vampire may sound like a walk in the park, but you have to choose the way you play wisely if you don’t want to end up hunted by vampire slayers. By choosing carefully who you wish to save and who you want to die, you will develop powers to help battle off those who may learn of your secrets. Players will need to defend themselves against vampire hunters, skal, and many other creatures who occupy London in 1918.
As a vampire, you are cursed to feed on those you vowed to heal. Will you embrace the monster within? Survive and fight against Vampire hunters, undead Skal, and other monstrosities.
For those who wish to pre order the game, you will get access to a few DLC’s that include two weapons and an outfit. The first weapon is a Dragnblade, “the sword of Paulinus Aurelianus, mythical founder of the Brotherhood of Saint Paul Stole, known as a dragon hunter”. The Second weapon is the Barker, “the pistol of Carl Eldritch, second leader of the Guard of Priwen, who have taken an oath to hunt down every last vampire.”
Vampyr will be released on all platforms sometime during November of this year. As always, stay tuned for more news coming out of E3!
