Disney Pixel RPG Officially Announced For iOS And Android

Today, developer-publisher GungHo Online Entertainment has officially revealed and announced a new free-to-play pixel art mobile RPG called Disney RPG for iOS and Android. Similarly to the Kingdom Hearts series, Disney Pixel RPG will revolve around Disney characters coming together and teaming up to battle a mysterious enemy invading all the different Disney worlds.

The story synopsis on the game’s official website reads:

“Due to the strange phenomenon, game worlds that should not be able to travel between are now connected, causing chaos for the Disney characters!

Be a player of the game main character. Together with Disney characters, we will restore the world to its original state.”

Disney Pixel RPG will include a ton of different Disney characters including from Disney Mickey & Friends,  Sleeping Beauty, Tangled, Mulan, Aladdin, Peter Pan, Zootopia, Lilo & Stitch, The Arisocats, The Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, Big Hero 6, and more.

Disney Pixel RPG will feature chaotic, strategic battles that will utilize simple controls and auto functions like letting characters battle on their own. More experienced RPG players can go deeper by strategizing and making use of the Attack, Defend, and Skill commands.

Players will be able to customize their Avatar with a variety of hairstyles outfits, including Disney-themed clothing items.

Throughout Disney RPG, players will be gathering materials and powering up characters when they are away from the game. The Disney characters can even explore the game worlds when the player isn’t playing. Various items will be rewarded to the player when they return from Expeditions.

Disney Pixel RPG will launch in 2024 in 18 countries and regions with English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, and Traditional Chinese language support. Pre-registration for the game is available now via the App Store and Google Play.

The game will launch in Japan on September 9.
