Dishonored 2: New Trailer Shows “Creative Kills” Gameplay

Earlier this morning Bethesda released brand new trailer for their upcoming title Dishonored 2. The new trailer shows Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano perform what they refer to as “Creative Kills”.

“Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano showcase a few of the seemingly limitless creative combinations of their supernatural abilities, weapons and gadgets to dispatch enemies”. The trailer shows multiple abilities to help kill off enemies. What gives the trailer its “Creative Kills” name is that most, if not all the abilities, can be used along with each other.

Emily has an ability called “Domino” which allows her to link targets together. She can then use “Far Reach” to pull enemies or objects toward her. Even into electric traps by using  “Wall of Light” to switch the polarity to not effect her, yet killing foes who get pulled through them. In the trailer Emily uses her “Doppelganger” ability to summon a shade of herself, then use “Domino” to attach all the enemies, before finally using “Far Reach” to attach the enemies to her shade, launching all three enemies into the air and over a building ledge.

Emily will also be able to switch places with her Doppelgänger by using “Transposition”. She can also become a stealthier form through the use of “Shadow Walk” or release a swarm of bloodflies via “Bloodfly Swarm”.

Corvo’s abilities allow him to do a number movements which help him get around obstacles and kill enemies. Convo can stop time for a short duration through the use of “Bend Time”. He can also use “Blink Assault”, enabling him to throw enemies by attacking just as Blink ends.

Bellow is the trailer showcasing all the abilities described above.

Both Characters appear to be able to use “Springrazor”, a trap that throws shrapnel at enemies who wander too close.
