GameStop is presenting a series of fan events in cities across the US in anticipation of the release of the much awaited Dishonored 2. These events are meant to allow people to experience the world of Dishonored in all its whalepunk glory. These cities include Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York. The events are definitely a must see for fans of the Dishonored franchise. Details on the locations and dates for the individual events will be listed below.
These fan events are all age and free to attend. They are basing entry on a first come first serve basis. One of the biggest takeaways for fans of Dishonored is a chance to get a hands on experience with the game, which will be available to play at the events. There will also be a scavenger hunt with a chance to win a custom Dishonored 2 Xbox One or PlayStation 4. There will also be themed food, drink, and photo opportunities at the events, all of which are meant to fit the setting of Dishonored 2. There will be t-shirt giveaways and lots of swag (which everyone can get behind) available at the events as well. For those in Los Angeles, there will be live on the spot t-shirt screening. Dishonored 2 takes place after the original Dishonored and allows the player a variety of choices. Players can choose to either reprise their role as Corvo Attano or take on the role of Emily Kaldwin. Each character has their own unique items, abilities, weapons, and gadgets. Players can also make their way through levels as they please. The player can choose the silent and stealthy route, go full on with the levels of brutality the game allows, or even a blend of both.
