Disgaea 2 Coming to PC via Steam, Release Date and Other Details Revealed

Disgaea 2 is heading to the PC. The tactical RPG is going to be released on Steam, January 30th 2017. This release will include all of the content on the original PS2 version of Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories and the PSP’s Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days. This re-release will not only be limited to digital media, there is also going to be physical release of the game. The physical PC release for Disgaea 2 will include: A Disgaea 2 collector’s art book, 5 art prints, a steam code for a Disgaea 2 digital art book, a Disgaea 2 PC desk mat, Disgaea Hour of Darkness premium soundtrack, and a Disgaea 2 mouse pad. This bundle retails at $80 USD and can be purchased at NIS America’s online store.

Some of the key features for Disgaea 2 include the option for the player to choose form over 200 character classes to build their party. There is also a “Dark Court” system, this system punishes good deeds and rewards evil ones. There will also be an “item world” that allows players to customize their gear. When it comes to combat, stacking attacks is an option in Disgaea 2. There will also be a number of other game modes the player can indulge in, these include: “Dark World” a hardcore setting where attacks do massive damage, “Axel Mode” where the player has to make an attempt at getting the washed up rock star of Disgaea, Axel, his popularity back, and “Land of Carnage” where you face off against a series of high level. Some improvements to Disgaea 2 were also made for the PC version of the game. These improvements include: an updated user interface, keyboard and mouse support (something all good PC ports need), playability on Mac and Steam Machines, and the introduction of 3 playable characters that were never included in western releases of the game.
