Diablo IV managed to surpass all previous Blizzard title’s opening sales, raking in over $666 million units and dollars sold five days since its launch on June 6. Diablo IV has become Blizzard’s fastest-selling game ever. According to the press release, since Diablo IV’s launch players have played over 276 million hours, died over 316 million times, killed 276 billion demons, created parties with friends over 166 million times, and much much more. Additionally, 163 players have reached Diablo IV’s maximum level in its perma-death Hardcore mode.
Mike Ybarra, President of Blizzard Entertainment, expressed his thanks and praise towards players and the team of developers behind Diablo IV for their work.
